I'm curious - a trait that continues to deliver many gifts and surprises.
To me, artists are those among us that bravely push the boundaries of the walls and boxes we create. They choose to experience the world from the edges and margins to see, feel, smell and sense deeply and from angles that are rarely in clear view. And not only do they seek out that perspective, but they communicate their experience in visceral ways that go where language by itself can't go. And when you experience it, you just know it when its good. Well, maybe "understand" is a better word. From graffiti to a Hopi basket, it transports and transforms.
Wait... was this supposed to be a bio? Okay, from the "executive" angle, here's my label.
