Born and bred in NY, schooled at RISD, I came to Los Angeles in 1989 because I had exceptional opportunities and good work. Knew I was an artist from the moment I came into this world. Also suspected I was a yogi, but I didn't know what it was called at the time.

My life has always been an artistic and spiritual journey. In 2008 at the ripe age of 53, it became crystal clear to me that my purpose was to be a teacher and inspire others to live extraordinary lives. I have travelled around the world as a decorative painter and designer, have maintained a business as a textile designer, and all the while, have made my own art in between all this working, traveling, and raising a daughter. Now I have shifted my gears from climbing scaffolding to climbing onto the teacher's bench as a yoga instructor and I also have been teaching painting at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts for the last eight years.

It is with the help of this project that I intend to tie all lose ends together and make my artistic and spiritual life one trajectory. Through the gift of being a teacher of both visual arts and yoga, I have come to learn that they are really one and the same.
