
Kira Maria Shewfelt
Interested in:
Kira comes to United States Artists with a background in education, journalism, and fine art. She holds a Masters degree from the University of Southern California in Art History and a Bachelors degree in Literature from Yale University. She has written for the Yale Herald, the Daily Star, The Art Review, Lost and Found, and Lounge Magazine, and presented her research at the University College London and University of Versailles San Quentin. At USA, she holds the position of Artist Relations Coordinator for USA Projects, drawing upon her experience teaching and interviewing to help artists present and promote their projects. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kira has also lived in Bogotá, Madrid, and Cairo.
