Erin M Riley is a tapestry weaver with a home base studio in Philadelphia, PA. She has been an Artist in Residence at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, at the MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, NH, McColl Center for Visual Art in Charlotte, NC and received a full VSC fellowship at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. She has exhibited all over the United States and in Australia. Awarded Best in Show at Radius 250 in Richmond, Va, a LEAP award finalist at the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, PA, the Kittredge Foundation Grant, and two Barbara L. Kulhman Foundation grants. Her tapestries have been published in New American Painting, FiberArts, Foam Magazine and in 1000 Artisan Textiles. She will be an Artist in Residence at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts from January through March of 2012.
