Elizabeth Meister and Dan Collison are independent radio artists who produce stories about people and communities in transition, with a growing emphasis on small towns, rural areas, and the environment. Their collaboration has yielded a wealth of award-winning work, focusing on characters that tell their own stories, and combine the intensely personal with verité scenes and rich sounds. Known for longitudinal documentaries, they have more recently begun collaborating with musicians and other artists to stretch the boundaries of traditional radio, creating new forms of aural narrative.
