Dean Dempsey earned his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute where he also served on the Board of Trustees as a student representative. His photoworks have been exhibited at several national and international galleries in North America, Europe and Asia. Dean was nominated for the SFMoMA's SECA award, and has been included in over 15 reviews and publications; most notably he was featured for a cover story in the San Francisco Bay Guardian in 2010. He is currently in a traveling group exhibition now at Light Work, and set to have a solo exhibition in the spring of 2012 in Milan, Italy at the MC2 Gallery.
