Michael James Armstrong at ICE
This installation was the first time I had the opportunity to do whatever I wanted with an entire space. I had a series of light sculptures I was working on that had never been shown, but I decided that this would be a great opportunity to put the idea of making site conditional work to the test. I, like the other three guys at ICE, learned a lot by approaching the work in this way.
