USA Projects

Dear Supporters:

I am raising funds for a new exhibition of my painting series: The Essence of Time.  My intention is to have an exhibition in Miami concurrent with Art Basel 2013 at Art Fusion Gallery and Nina Torres Gallery.  This opportunity will allow me to share my work with a broader network of collectors, but also access a new audience base for my work. 

My motivation as a painter is to represent, through my paintings, such phenomena that many times cannot be comprehended by reason. As I progress in my career after exhibiting in the 2011 Biennale in Chianciano, Italy, where I received two awards for the quality of my paintings, I want to share with the American audience what I feel as an artist and how I interpret intangible concepts by means of my art. It is very important for me to share my inner artistic vibrations with you, dear supporter. Previous to this new body of work, I have exhibited other series, such as Icons and Disintegration, in several cities in the USA like New York, Miami, West Palm Beach, and others, as well as Italy and Colombia.

The Essence of Time is based on my interest in representing the concept of time. In physics time represents the travel of light thru cosmos, and by studying the effects of light we learn that the universe expands and contracts, as some galaxies approach others and some galaxies distance from others. We also see the past when we receive the light from distant celestial bodies. The curvature of space-time may allow humans of the future experiencing time travel with high energy devices capable of warping time. However, for some human beings, time is a point of reference that indicates our temporal position in the spectrum of life. For others, time is a relative personal concept independent from formulae and temporal references. This is the core of my project, the perception of time, as I express it through my artistic endeavor. 

My goal of $6,000 will allow me to purchase materials, venue rental, and the time required to commit my life to this endeavor. USAprojects allows me to present to you my work: The Essence of Time.
